Family-owned and operated, cafelolz is a cosy, quintessential Scottish cafe renowned for its delicious award-winning home-made sweet bakes and Ottolenghi-inspired meals. As much as possible, the cafe uses locally-sourced fresh produce, offering a real taste of Orkney.

Owner Lorraine Pilkington-Tait was born and bred in Orkney and has worked in the hospitality industry for over three decades. Lorraine's experience shines through in her superb culinary skills and exceptional professionalism and service. Added to this, Lorraine's warm and bubbly personality makes cafelolz a home to all that visit it. She and her staff welcome all customers from near-and-far to this cosy cafe in the heart of Orkney's capital, Kirkwall.
